Auto Calm

The Autocalm app pretty much does what it starts out to do (judging from Its moniker) - which is to configure your phone to either silent or vibrate modes during certain events The simple app can be synced with any Google calendar of yours (shows up to 4 week’s worth of events) and is able to set events to either mode at one go. Otherwise, if most of your calendar events don’t require phones to be quiet, the app also allows you to silence your phone according to an individual day’s worth of
events instead. Other features include creating your own sound profiles.
The AutoCalm app is a simple and useful app for those who require their phones to be silent during important events. Using AutoCalm, you can create individual sound profiles as well (duration, begin time, end time, repeat). There are general presets available for your pick if you aren’t that fussy.

First off, select a Google Calendar. The selected sound profile (silent or vibrate) would automatically be applied to all events within a 1-4 week range. However, you can later make edits tc individual events if you wish to.

The app also allows you to set your phone on silent or vibrate mode for an extended period of time (days, months and even years).


RingWise (Auto Silencer)

The RingWise app is similar to AutoCalm with some exceptions. The free version works Just fine but if you have the extra dollar to spare, we suggest buying tile full version. Additional features include the ability to monitor more than one calendar synced with your Google account, receiving missed calls and SMS alerts after each event, and more. Otherwise, the free version is pretty straightforward and only requires a few clicks and ticks on your part to set up.

To activate RingWise, you first have to select a Google Calendar. 


Smart Flags is a feature that allows users to silent your phone during more important events via keywords.
 
Additional features that are not in the free version include notifications of missed calls and SMSeS during an event.




Toggle Settings: Profiles

Toggle Settings: Profiles (Lite version) is in itself a rather comprehensive app that allows you to easily select from a set of eight preset profiles that is best for you at any given point in time. You can edit the profile too of course, according to your preferences. The app also gives you quick access to running tasks and important settings (WiFi, Bluetooth. Volume, Screen brightness).

Click on any icon to enable a desired profile. To edit or add more settings, simply long press on it and select edit profile. Do the same if you want to activate the profile at a certain time and date but choose “quick enable profile instead.

Action that can be added are divided into two sections called Toggles and Settings. Some of them include disabling or enabling airplane mode, portable hotspot. orientation, and adjusting brightness, notification ringtone and so on.




On the third tab, you can easily configure your notification ringtone or phone ringtone. Or simply switch your phone to vibrate mode only




















Llama Location Profiles

The Llama is, as advertised or the Android Market, a location aware mobile app. Hence, it is important to
allow the app to learn places you frequent because what it does here is to us phone masts to determine where you are. From thereon, you can activate profiles according to locale and time of the day. Sound profiles can be customized to set specific ringtones at varyingly levels of volume. Events can be created as well, allowing users to specify actions when certain conditions are met, such as killing apps when battery is less than 50%, or starting up the music player when a headset is connected. The app can be quite confounding to new users but it does get points for its comprehensive selection of settings.

Create specific areas and long press on them to allow the app to start learning about them.

Click on the plus sign at the bottom to create a new event. Kick start the new event by naming it. Adding conditions or actions (which includes profile activation) is simple; tap on the tabs at the bottom to start up a menu of selections. 
















Want to make changes to your sound profile? On top of toggling volume control (including alarm, in-call and system sound volume), you can also select specific ringtone/notification tones to suit your current environment. Cr you can simply put it on silent/vibrate mode.
