With a glossy black bezel framing its equally glossy 23.6-inch full HD LED-backlit touchscreen display, the ASUS ET2411INTl has a simple yet elegant design. It is also really slim too, just 6cm thick at its bulkiest point. The only gripe we have about its design is that its aluminum stand adjusts only for tilt and not for height.
Despite its modest dimensions, the ET2411INTI packs lots of entertainment features. For starters, it has a Blu-ray drive as well as an integrated TV tuner. This means you can watch the 9 o’clock news, and then continue to The Godfather remastered in all its 1080p high-definition glory. For better sound than on most AIOs, the ET2411INTI also comes with a specialty-designed subwoofer. It’s a nice touch, and while it does provide more sonic impact to the ET2411INTI’s overall sound, we would still recommend proper speakers to complement the system if you are picky about audio. We also found the subwoofer’s cable to be a little short for our liking.
The ET2411INTI’s 23.6-inch touchscreen panel is unusual in that it uses optical imaging, which is multiple image sensors and infrared light, to track your touch inputs. It is capable of recognizing up to two-points of touch and is fairly responsive and accurate once you get used to it.
AS for specifications, the ET2411INTI is equipped with the Core 17-3770S processor — the same found in the Aspire Z5.
This is further complemented by a generous 8GB of RAM and a spacious 2TB hard disk, great for storing photos, music and movies. Finally, its entertainment credentials are further reinforced with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT63OM graphics processor. Though this is a fairly low-power GPU, it is good enough for HD video playback and gaming0 as long as you don’t go overboard with the graphics settings.
The ET2411INTI also features a healthy selection of ports, including two USB 3.0 ports and an additional five USB 2.0 ports. Like the Acer and Lenovo AIOs, it has both HDMI input and output ports. What this means is that it can receive HDMI signals and double up as a regular display.
